Babies having Babies

                    Parents in this day and age have failed their children. Since when was it okay for teenagers to have kids? Teenagers aren't but kids themselves. The thing that hurts me the most inside is these babies are my friends, my peers, my former and current classmates. What has become of this generation? Every where i look there is a pregnant teen, in the streets, on the bus, in subway cars, in the grocery store, and in my classroom. But my question is why? why beautiful educated girl? why have you fallen victim of the young boys plan to destroy our female race? The sad part is, these young boys don't want anything to do with you so why mess up your future? 

                  Don't get me wrong some of these babies have a reasonable explanation for getting pregnant. Ive been told they are the only child and the mother approves. In some cases it works out for the baby her baby and the father of her child, join in unison to care and provide for this seed which has been planted in these young children's lives. Majority of these babies having babies think its cute to have a baby daddy, or to be called a baby momma and become a statistic.

                  I will not become a statistic. I refuse to become a mans baby momma. I am an educated young women and i will become a mans wife. I will wait until I have fully educated myself, and am financially stable to provide for my child and I. I will not be a baby having a baby. To all my friends and family who have conceived at a young age, best wishes to you and your family. its never to late to start over, don't remain his baby momma, rise up and shine be yourself!

Autobiography

For some time now, I have been wanted to write a blog. I would imagine all the things it would consist of. Today i have realized imagining it and actually doing it is to different things. So my first blog will consist of a short autobiography of myself.


My name is Grace. I am a child of Nigerian descent. I love to play basketball. My favorite Basketball player is Kobe Bryant of the L.A Lakers. I love the movie Love & Basketball. I am very opinionated about what goes on in everyday life and id like to share my thoughts and hear yours. Bucket your seat belts because Im going to take you on one heck of a ride through my life.
